Shoppe Ramblings

December 18, 2013 After a couple of snow storms, it is looking like a white Christmas in this corner of Nova Scotia. We continue to work on more stained glass art. As well we have a variety of other locally crafted gifts including Bookbeads by Unbridled and quilted Christmas pot holders by Pat, just to name two.  Gifts for all ages, in all price ranges. December 4, 2013 Snowmen Want to go Skating are back in the shoppe. The three snowmen are removable and can also be hung in the window. Also check out all the new fused glass.

November 2, 2013 A couple of new panels are finished and hanging in the display windows.   And we have a new sign.  The colours are the same, but the shape is different.   Check back soon for details about our Christmas Open House with Discovery Toys on November 30th.

September 3, 2013 Even though we are heading into the Fall season we have just hung two new panels in the front window featuring Spring flowers.  You can probably guess the designs were in the works for awhile and they are finally finished and look so cheerful.      Coming soon, maple leaves in reds, oranges and yellows!

May 31, 2013 We recently created two panels for a couple who have been many year residents of the community, but are now moving away.  Both were given as gifts to them from groups they had supported over the years.  And both were a surprise!

February 21, 2013 New this year... Easter Eggs.  One of our customers ordered a stained glass Easter Egg and the chance to use all these beautiful colours inspired us to create even more. Drop by and check out our Easter Egg Tree.

January 3, 2013 Happy New Year Village Glassworks is closed for a few days, but we will be back in the shop doing the year end inventory and accounting for 2012 soon. Then it is on to glass cutting and soldering with many new ideas in store for 2013. Until we meet this year, all the best from us to you.
